Bitter and Cold

I know not where the dead lie,
row upon row
bitter and cold.

Lie in wait,
as standing at arms
bitter and cold.

Dear commanders,
do not for sake the Vietnam MIA
bitter and cold.

In name only,
take up the arms
bitter and cold.

The asterisk by the name,
we are lost brothers
bitter and cold.

And remains as true,
you lost dear brothers
bitter and cold.

On the asterisk list,
gone bye in pain
bitter and cold.
